Sashimono

a Tactical Card Game set in Sengoku Period, Japan
1 or 2 players | 30-60 minutes
Picture
You lead a coalition of allied Daimyō and Samurai vying to obtain control of historic Japan. While your opponent commands an evenly matched army, they lack your selection of leadership and myriad tactics. Just as one drop in the ocean contributes to the tide, so too shall your Sashimono banners guide your army to ultimate victory!

Sashimono is a historic-light, small-box, high-complexity game for one or two players. Players manage a tactical grid and hand of cards to complete puzzle-like objectives. Arrange your forces to form battle lines and successfully disrupt your opponent’s plans through combat. If enough of your Daimyō succeed in their goals, your alliance is successful and you are victorious!
  • Historic era subject brought to life by 17th century art, names, banners, and dates.
  • Use battle to defend your objectives or ruin your opponent's.
  • Minimal components, maximum replay, with 34 different goals.

During an Action Turn, you'll assign a Sashimono card from hand to one of your rows or columns. You'll then be able to perform actions based on what is in that line. Strategically place and maneuver your cards to activate and coordinate your winning strategy!
